Windswept is a Hunter 35.5 built in 1994. This design features a fractional
rig comprising a modified B&R rigging with swept-back spreaders
that are common to many modern Hunter sailboats. However, it differs
from most modern Hunter sailboats because it also includes a split backstay.
The keel is a combined bulb-fin keel providing shoal drafts to 4'-6".
Despite the reduced draft the captain has managed to run aground several
times developing an axiom that you have never travelled new water unless
you have run aground at least once.
